Burning Wick House of Prayer is a non-denominational gathering of believers that join together weekly at Remnant Church to worship the LORD and to intercede and cry out to Him for the things that are on HIS heart. We meet on Thursdays from 7-9 pm, and welcome believers from all churches in the area. Our worship and prayer services are in a 'Harp and Bowl' style (from Revelation 5:6-8), where we combine continuous anointed worship with fervent prayer. Our schedule of worship watches is as follows:
- 1st Thursday of the month - a SOLEMN ASSEMBLY, where we cry out for our nation, in the spirit of 2 Chronicles 7:14, i.e., "If my people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face..."
- 2nd Thursday of the month - our ISAIAH 62 INITIATIVE - when we lift up focused worship and prayer concerning Israel, the Jewish people, and the Middle East, as in Isaiah 62: "For Zion's sake I will not hold My peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest..."
- 3rd Thursday of the month - this is called BURNING WICK - when we press into interceding for the people, land, government, schools, etc. of Brunswick and the Southeast Georgia/Coastal region. We long to see revival come to our city!!
- 4th Thursday of the month - this is our ENCOUNTER NIGHT - when we simply seek His face, enjoying His Love and His presence, allowing Holy Spirit to move and direct our hearts in worship and prayer.
(IF there is a 5th Thursday - this is a devotional set - we soak in His presence and in the Word).
Please come and join us as often as you can on Thursday evenings from 7-9 pm, and feel free to come and go as needed during that time.
